Calling all visual artists!

Antigonight is looking for 10 artists to participate in the first ever Antigonight Tote Project! Are you an artist who resonates with ‘Turning Tides’ but not sure your work translates to exhibiting at Antigonight? Well, we still want your art! Paintings, prints, graphic designs, drawings – if they speak to the 2026 Antigonight theme, ‘Turning Tides’ we want to see them!

We are offering participating artists an honorarium to design an image to print on a run of tote bags that will be available in exchange for donations at Antigonish Arts Fairs, The Antigonish Farmers Market and Antigonight 2026. Donations collected from the Tote project will be directly supporting Antigonight programming and our ability to continue offering free and accessible community arts projects.

Does it mean change and adaptation, or do you see turning tides as waves crashing to the shore? However you interpret it, we’d love to hear from you and see your work.
